LEAD’s core business spans lithium-ion battery equipment, photovoltaic (PV) equipment, 3C automation, intelligent logistics, automotive production lines, and hydrogen energy systems.

With 1.8 million square meters of R&D and manufacturing facilities worldwide, LEAD invests over 10% of its annual revenue into research and development. The company employs more than 5,000 R&D professionals and holds over 3,200 authorized patents. 2012

  1. Developed the first generation of automatic string welder for our PV modules
  2. Won the Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Center, Jiangsu Provincial Industrialization and Informatization Pilot Enterprise

2013

  1. Development of EV lithium-ion battery winding machine
  2. Development of digital lithium-ion battery welding and winding machine
  3. Developed new TAB welding machine, electrode slitter, diaphragm slitter, electrode slotting machine, battery assembly machine.
  4. Our Solar Cell Stringer won the gold medal of Jiangsu Excellent New Product.

2014

  1. Awarded National Pilot Enterprise of Industrialization and Informatization

2015

  1. Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on May 18th, stock name “Pilot”, stock code 300450
  2. Changed the company name to Wuxi Pilot Intelligence Co.
  3. Developed high-speed winding machine for cylindrical lithium battery cores.
  4. Awarded Jiangsu Province Intelligent Workshop Demonstration Certification

2016

  1. Received awards for our welding and winding machine for prismatic Li-ion cells in both Wuxi city and Jiangsu province
  2. Chairman Wang Yanqing was awarded Excellent Entrepreneur of Jiangsu and the company was awarded the Management Innovation Outstanding Enterprise in Jiangsu certification

2017

  1. Acquired Zhuhai Titans New Power to provide a whole line Li-ion battery manufacturing turnkey service
  2. Set up 3C business unit

2018

  1. Chairman Wang Yanqing was listed among top the 50 CEOs of Chinese listed enterprises
  2. Set up subsidiaries and branches in the USA, Japan, and South Korea
  3. First release of PV cell and assembly manufacturing turnkey service
  4. Set up four new business units: fuel cell, automotive, logistics and laser

2019

  1. Named as the Demonstration Enterprise as Manufacturing Single Champion by the Ministry of Industry and Information
  2. We celebrated LEAD’s 20th anniversary and unveiled the manufacturing base for high-end new energy equipment
  3. Won the title of 2019 Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Supplier by the Ministry of Industry and Information
  4. Won the whole line Li-ion battery equipment order from Northvolt in Europe
  5. Set up the Swedish subsidiary

2020

  1. Independently developed and tested the first hydrogen energy roll-to-roll production
  2. Won the Module & Pack production line order from BMW
  3. Set up subsidiaries in Germany and India
  4. High-speed stacking machine secured over 60% market share, cylindrical cell production reached 355ppm, and secured large shipments of long pouch cell equipment
  5. Developed TOPCon solar power cell whole line; PV stringer efficiency over 9000pcs/hr
  6. Our laser cell cutting, FPC flexible PCB board drilling, laser engraving machine (LOC) and laser marking machine were well accepted by our clients

2021

  1. Market capital exceeded 100 billion RMB in July, becoming the first stock in new energy equipment industry
  2. Won the Quality Award of the Provincial Governor of Jiangsu, and Chairman Wang Yanqing was the only representative from the manufacturing industry to be invited to the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce conference
  3. Awarded the first prize for the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award
  4. Set up the Vietnam office

2022

  1. Won 20GWh and 13GWh Li-ion battery equipment orders from top OEMs respectively
  2. Set up subsidiaries in France, Netherlands, Turkey and an office in Slovakia

  4. Launched Smart Factory Dome product series named LEADACE
